{"id":90,"date":"2006-09-25T02:05:00","date_gmt":"2006-09-25T02:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eclecticamateur.wordpress.com\/2006\/09\/25\/on-second-thought"},"modified":"2006-09-25T02:05:00","modified_gmt":"2006-09-25T02:05:00","slug":"on-second-thought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.znfrey.com\/blog\/2006\/09\/on-second-thought.html\/","title":{"rendered":"On second thought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.znfrey.com\/blog\/2006\/09\/dialogue-meaning-shut-up-and-be-like.html\">previous post<\/a>, I had some harsh words for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Abdul-Kareem+al-Ghazi\">certain Islamic cleric<\/a>, due to his quoted commentary on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zenit.org\/english\/visualizza.phtml?sid=94748\">Pope Benedict&#8217;s Regensburg address<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/davidwarrenonline.com\/index.php?artID=649\">subsequent hysteria<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On further consideration, I realized that I was failing to remember the <a href=\"http:\/\/markshea.blogspot.com\/\">Sheaism <\/a>of &#8220;subtract 50 IQ points when the MSM discusses religion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And also,  &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/anglocath.blogspot.com\/2006\/09\/hmm-looks-like-i-was-right.html\">do not attribute to stupidity what can only be explained by malice<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So.  Why was I thinking that I could actually draw a resonable conclusion from a MSM story regarding a religious issue?
