"The Baroness" is the widow of Captain Ewan macFiddich, the founder and original leader of the SBTC before his untimely death in 1036NA. While Sophia is not an adventurer, she inherited the Captain's shares as his widow, and proves her value to the Company by her tireless working of the "home front" business dealings of the company.
